Critters

Critters are not fish, but they wander through and you can catch them for bonus coins and a spot on the Critters page of your Fishdex.

Bird spotting

6 kinds of bird fly over the Bayou. Look out for the Great Egret, Anhinga and White Ibis, plus 3 rarer birds you’ll have to find for yourself. Tap a bird to spot it and add it to your bird book. A new kind pays coins, and a rare one brings a free item.

Watch out for

Hazards glow red and show a warning before they arrive. Thick Gloves from the shop keep you safe for three minutes.

• Cottonmouth: stings: you lose a few coins and your taps freeze for a moment.
• Snapping Turtle: snaps up the last fish you caught.

Something hidden

There is one hidden thing to find at the Bayou. It only peeks out for a few seconds at a time, so keep your eyes open. Finding it pays a coin bonus and a Lucky Lure.
