Bird spotting

The Wandering Albatross flies over the water here from time to time. Tap it to spot it; your first sighting of each kind of bird gives you a free item.

Watch out for

Hazards glow red and show a warning before they arrive. Thick Gloves from the shop keep you safe for three minutes.

• Portuguese Man o’ War: stings: you lose a few coins and your taps freeze for a moment.
• Reef Shark: chases and eats fish until you tap it five times to drive it off.

Something hidden

There is one hidden thing to find at the Open Ocean. It only peeks out for a few seconds at a time, so keep your eyes open. Finding it pays a coin bonus and a Lucky Lure.
